Vino. I'm trying really hard to bite my tongue about *cough* Ferarri *cough*. Great team, good on the TTs and can climb well enough.
Would like to see crazy old Moreau do a podium.

Irony of this TDF is (in spite of all anti doping fight) - doper will win it.
But that's irony of cycling in last... 30, 40, 50 years. -
I voted for Cadel. I don't think he's the strongest rider, but I have more doubts about the other top picks such as Valv, Vino and Kloden concerning doping.
-
Does it mean Vino and Piti will start the tour? Does it mean business as usual? Maybe there's a secret pact between OP dopers, ASO and UCI?

IMO Valjavec should concetrate on Polka Dot competition. There might be his chance.
Možda bi mogao i do etapne pobede, ali...

Kelly picks Kloden
uk.eurosport.yahoo.comtour de france tour countdown man beat.htmlOpen ↗Hats off to Kelly his knowledge and experience, but Klodi is hired to be there for Vino... Only if Vino loses all chances before crucial stages then it's Klodi's race... And he won't miss it.

And Doctor.House will beat his brain with some Afghan pot these three weeks... He already started... How else to explain this paranoid chain of thoughts.
But you're not far from truth.P.S.
Is it Afghan or domestic? -

Is it Afghan or domestic? Not far from the truth? Can you say Jan Ulrich? Ivan Basso? Danilo DiLuca?
Paranoid chain of thoughts? Get real.
The riders need marijuana and crack cocaine, not the rationale observers.

Znam ja da volite da svratite do Bg-a🙂
Najbolja fora je što je u prostor za koncert uključena i biciklistička staza😎
Lep provod.P.S.
Prva brdska... Moguće, vrlo moguće. Mada ja više tipujem na one tranzicione. -

Relax man. I'm just teasing you.
This is what market offers - doped sportists (cyclists).
I'm real... There's somewhere my post where I said there's no clean olympic medalist in last... Well, let's say 30 years (and I was crucified). I'm aware of all dirt in modern sport mixed with marketing, medicine, etc. etc.... You can buy only what's market offering. -

Not so Andrija:You can buy goods on the black market, live in Monte Carlo, bank in the Cayman Isles and have a Swiss bank account and watch.
What TV marketers typically sell are pigs dressed up with lipstick.
The really good stuff is behind the scenes. Low pulse rate over here.

You're right.
But lipsticked pigs are what we're talking about here (on forum). And there's something strange in human nature - exhibitionism and identification with exhibitionists... That's what makes money... Huge money. And marketers are using that... Making idols, models... They exploit human weaknesses (viewers' weaknesses) and frustrations.
When you realise you can climb what they can, feel great for your own achievements and improve your performance every day... That's it... You don't need TDF doped champion to be your idol...If I understood you right and vise versa.
But for now greatest cycling show is about to start and we both will watch it and comment... Sarcasticly, bitterly, with fascination or not, but we'll be present on this forum. -
My head says Vino and Dr. Ferrari will blow everyone away.
My heart says Klodi could win it.
But I would not be too surprised to see someone like Karpets pull off an unexpected victory.

I don't know about Karpets... He's good, he can TT, he can climb, but three weeks seems too much to him. And his position in team doesn't look like GC position. There's Piti, there's Pereiro... But it would be nice to see, as you said, someone like him to win this edition of TDF.

If the 1999 Tour was an indicator--the winner post scandal must be from a naive country with a large economy to help regain the lost revenues. Roid Landis blew that deal for Texas.
China is the future for the Tour de Farce---but no Chinese are entered this year.
France is my guess for a winner of the 'healing tour'. 2008 can be Asia.
Nike will endorse whomever wins, doping or no doping disclosure.
