One day they will push it too far and get their ass handed to them. It is
[censored] like that that give cyclists a bad name. -

Does the 'Tut Tut" refer to the choice of music?
(For the record - the words 'organ donors' comes to mind.)

It's kinda like watching a Chinese sweatshop worker making cheap

for a bike courier because their precious item /has/ to be on the other

the one I took from work to Spanish lessons (New Oxford Street, then
Oxford Street). I worked out that it's safer (and for me quicker) to
take a left on Berwick Street, wind through Soho (being courteous to all
peds and drivers, of course, and obeying signals) and go straight across
Mayfair to Hyde Park and onward on Bayswater Road.

standard when they're working.Given the poor sight lines they can hardly claim they were only risking
themselves. Any chance of someone dancing nekkid round the willow tree to
send the p*ncture fairy their way? -

suspect that Tony Raven is correct that more get killed by jumping cars
than from shooting though lights them selfs. it is a issue more of a
image than any thing else.roger

how come they are not all dead???Because cycling isn't very dangerous, even when you're as cavalier as
this!Note that the traffic speeds in London are pretty low, so the penalty
for getting it wrong probably isn't as high as it might be if you
tried this kind of thing in other cities (or on London's faster roads
when they're quiet enough for the traffic to be moving for that
matter).Phil

I just don't understand why motorists feel obliged to let them through
when they're blatantly running red lights - if more of them ended up
embedded in the side of cars they might not think it was such a smart
thing to do. -

and swear a lot instead? -

I wouldn't hit them if I could help it, but I wouldn't mind them hitting
me if it was clearly their fault. My cars aren't worth several hundred
quid. -
