Question: how high was your largest drop?

    - 0 - 11"
    - 1' - 1' 11"
    - 2' - 2' 11"
    - 3' - 3' 11"
    - 4' - 4'11"
    - 5' - 5' 11"
    - over 6'
    ------------------------------------------------------------------------

Just wondering how high of drops people have done. My highest is just
    over
    5 foot.

  3. My highest was ~4.5'. I don't see why your poll only goes up to 5'11" -
there have been a good number of people who have dropped from higher
    than 7'.

  10. A little over 3 feet, maybe up to 3 and a half, I never measured it. Odd
thing was, that drop was a lot easier than a good deal of 2 and a half
foot drops I had done previously, even though i was dropping onto
    similar terrain.

  11. I have landed about 3.5-4 feet. But I have tried about 5 feet but
    didn't land it.

Do you have to land it for it to count on the poll? It seems like a
lot of people and saying that have tried really high drops but didn't
    land it.

i think that drops can be cool once in a while, but height and big risk
should not be what makes your line a challenge.

yeah, you should land it for it to count.

  13. Drops aren't very satisfying and they can be very painful. They are
only good for getting down from a trials line, or impressing people.

  19. Here is the 4.2-metre jump that Yoggi did, several times, at Unicon
XII in the chilling out period after the trials (for which he built
the course). He never quite managed to hold the landing, but did from
    the easy little 3.1-metre drop.

(of course, he makes the cranks - so this was something of a product
    demo!)
