  1. There are 2 skills with drops
    1. dont hurt yourself
    2. dont hurt your unicycle.
i've got the first one, but I'm on my 5th unicycle and replacement
cranks due to a 5ft drop.
theres certainly a skill to not breaking something, but otherwise,
anyone can jump off something high.

But its good to be able to drop from high up, so that you're not afraid
to do a skinny that you'll probably fall from.

You can see the unofficial drop record by Kris in ThunderDragon.

  2. I made a drop of 8 feet, but it was in my begginings when I wasn't aware
yet I could hurt me or my uni...

Hopefully, I landed it, but I could have hurt myself, because I had
begun trial just 2 weeks earlier, and I really didn't have any
    technique.

I'm sorry for my english, I hope you can understand me...

    Have a good day,

    Tim

  4. This answer is easy, all I have to do is copy my post from 'this thread'
    (http://www.unicyclist.com/forums/showthread.php?t=41806):

My highest drop from a unicycle was 6 1/2 feet off a 9 1/2 foot
    giraffe...landed wrong...then 10 weeks on crutches.

I stopped trials/MUni drops at loading dock height and now stick to
picnic table or lower. No sense in tempting fate.

I've watched others land drops over 7 feet. I could probably watch
    higher.

  6. i have done a few 9 footers, and 1 14 footer to soft sand (yeah I landed
it, but I couldn't pedal away)
big drops are only cool when you clear 15 stairs at the same time(the
    record? is 13 stairs)
I have done a few drops to concrete bigger than 9 feet, but they were
    unmeasured.

  19. Personally I think jumping stairsets is way more fun than simply
straight drops...because big stairsets do often include a big drop in
height, so that fun part is included, but also you have to clear them
forwards...which not only takes more skill, but you have to roll out
which is better for your unicycle and your body in general.

made from a stack of pallets and cinder blocks, as seen below. It
