  1. Does anyone know where I could get a square tapered, Italian Threaded
Bottom bracket for a triple chainset, 70x118 I think?

I've tried just about everywhere and the only place I can find one is
from the Harris place in America, but they have a $100 minimum order
for overseas delivery and then charge another $35 for postage!

If anyone has a spare one kicking around I'd be most grateful and
would pay the going rate for a new one!

It's for a re-build I'm doing and I've got everything else to fit, but
I've only got a 70x110mm BB in the frame which causes the chainring to
catch on the chainstay. I know getting a double chainring would be an
alternative, but I cycle in big hills and I'm not that fit (yet).

    Any help gratefully received.

Spa Cycles list Stronglights in 117 and 119mm, TA in 116 and 119mm. The
Stronglight specifies Italian threading. The TA is certainly available in
Italian, and Spa should be able to get you one if they don't have one in
    stock.

Give them a call - they're generally very helpful.

Could you get away with a spacer under the right hand cup?

Sorry - I forgot to include the link:

I should add that they also list a Shimano UN73 in 118mm, though I don't
know whether or not that comes in Italian.

  4. Nice one. Thanks James. I actually live in Skipton which is quite near
them! I've just called and they reckon they've got something so I'm
going to take the frame over at the weekend and get it sorted.

    Phew, thanks for that.
