Trek OCLV 120 frame, DA 10-speed components, Bontrager Race Lite wheels, Trek/Bontrager fork, no model ID on decals.
I think it might be a 2004 Trek 5500, but cannot verify it on the Trek website.
Thanks,
Mike
I'm not an expert on Trek at all, but it looks like a 2004 OCLV 120 scheme to me, with the stock 5500 groupo, and X-Lite fork from the following pic on the Trek site which can be brought up from the 5200 page at www2.trekbikes.com5200.phpOpen ↗ : (the team color scheme image is not linked from the 5500 page, so this pic has the Ultegra group and narrower taper Race Lite fork ). Previous year had different scheme and I think Lite not X-Lite fork on the 5500. (see: trekbikes.com55002.jpgOpen ↗ ) with white at the rear of the main triangle and they went to the Madone the following. Trek has sometimes painted left over frames with the next years colors, but I don't know if there was even any difference between the 2003-2004 120 framesets
I bought it on ebay last month, at a price where the DA gruppo alone made it worthwhile. I wanted to have a bike at work for those sunny lunch hour rides. It's embarassing not to be able to tell people what it is 🙂
Thanks! It was an 'accidental' buy - I put in a bid I thought was a good deal, and won! Plenty of others went by at bids I wasn't prepared to beat.....

That is exactly the way to get a good deal on eBay---when you don't need it in a hurry and can let most of the lesser deals pass by then pounce on the lucky bargain.
