Does anyone know why an independently wealthy man would dole out his own money on an anonymous sponsorship basis to surround himself with young athletic men instead of spending it on chicks?
I heard Governor Jim McGreevey did the same thing.

Monkey-thing, drink more liquor and use less LSD. The fact that a deep-pocketed fan of cycling wants to support a youth-dev team is a good thing.
However, your completely random and insanely libelous innuendo is as much fun as euthanasia day at the dog pound. Please, tell us more.

It's not a youth development team.

Good catch Grilla. I too was pondering this very issue while reading the piece on CN. I was initially distracted by the author's improper usage of 'eluded' in the first paragraph but it looks like they have since corrected this error and substituted it with the correct word, 'alluded'.
Anyway, back on topic, just looking at the file photo of Ellis tells me he's into the scene. And by scene I mean a bunch of sweaty young guys donning thin-film lycra garments. I think it's quite possible he felt he was purchasing some ass-puppets supplied by Vaughters, the king ass-puppet.
What I'm trying to piece together though, and maybe you can help, is how Vaughters may have developed a case of TMJ over the last couple years. Oh wait, never mind. I think I just figured it out.

The District Attorney is in.
The biggest problem I have with that interview isn't the latent homosexuality. It is this concept of Mr. Sideburns and Lavender Man "owning a team" and somehow parlaying that into a Pro Tour team. This is messed up because the only thing you need to own a Pro Tour team is a high 7-figure sponsor. And without it you don't have a Pro Tour team. There is no transition or stepping stone.
So there's no such thing as evolving into a Pro Tour team - you either have 7-figure sponsor or you don't.
Why does this guy think that sponsorsing a low-level team is going to parlay itself into a Pro Tour team?

This is just another Shroeder Iron team in drag.

Point well taken. I think the probable plan is for the purple pullover pimp to farm out his king ass- puppet or sideburn boy, if you please, to lure other unsuspecting deep pocketed corporations or individuals into the scheme. I personally feel the Catholic Church would be an excellent prospect, making an ideal partner on many levels. I will elaborate on the topic in this forum if anyone is interested, otherwise I will present directly to team management.

Team Rectory.
I think they could bring the Catholic Church aboard if they had a juniors men's team and they all agreed to shower together in the rectory after training rides.
You're in the wrong forum...there's plenty of your kind over in the "angry white punk toilet" or even the "passive-agressive coward behind the keyboard toilet" Please meander over and pollute some other sport for awhile and give us a break. Have a nice day -
