I have relatively inexpensive Zéfal gauges (Schrader and Presta) that
appear to be reasonably accurate based on comparisons with other
gauges. They are designed for bicycle pressures (140 psi, which should
be adequate for most tires other than track tubulars), and do not
noticeably reduce tire pressure with several consecutive uses.

A floor pump with a dial gauge is accurate enough and saves lots of
fuss. Here's one:

I have used one of these for fifteen years now. It does
not bleed much air. Several measurements in a row do
not change the pressure, even on a 622 mm x 25 mm tire.
No batteries to go flat.

Beware of guages that weigh more than the bike, however.

Your quest for ultimate performance in pump output need not be
influenced by mere outward tint. This is an easily remedied flaw if
the appearance is unsatisfactory. To wit:

www.mcmaster.com stock number 8116T51 - Reflective paint
Same supplier, stock number 78025T37 - Yellow paint (or a variety of
other colors, including safety orange.)

A coat of reflective paint over a coat of the brilliant color of your
choice should maximize the findability of any pump.

Alternately, Mcmaster's stock number 5997T83 reflective 2" tape is
available in yellow, and one roll should do a tire pump, and most if
not all of a velocipede frame, handily.

Of course, everyone (with discriminating taste) knows that no color
change will make an item faster than can be achieved by painting it
British Racing Green.

I got a nice ACCUGAGE at the LBS. It measures up to 160psi OK.
I only tried it up to 140psi on some Vredesteins once.
The one I got is for Presta valves though.

15 hours and 25' of tape for a frame.
