Google Groups has been sick as a dog recently. If my ISP offered usable
Usenet servers, I'd switch to a real Newsreader in a heartbeat. Ugh. -

Some high volume groups I read there haven't had messages

Strange; your headers would swear otherwise :-) I take it you've been here,
done this then:<http://www.comcast.net/help/faq/index.jsp?faq=Newsgroups118224>

"That's a joke, son. You're built too low. The fast ones go over your head. Ya
got a hole in your glove. I keep pitchin' 'em and you keep missin' 'em. Ya gotta
keep your eye on the ball. Eye. Ball. I almost had a gag, son. Joke, that is."Ron

Dear Peter,
If you ever break both legs and have nothing else to do, you can look
into a newsreader program to download RBT posts to your Mac and let
you sort, plonk, and reply to your heart's content:http://www.newsreaders.com/mac/clients.html
I know nothing about Macs except that my elder sister and her family
adore them, but I'd look into HogWasher 4.1 just for its name alone.Cheers,
