They do, lifted from l'Equipe. Wonder why it took them 3 days to pick

That was in 2001 and he was able to prove his innocence...although he
was still threatened of a lifetime ban in case of another problem. It
does seem like his positive might be an accident. No news on the
exogenous situation yet I believe, unlike for Landis.

This isn't new. They're quoting L'Equipe's report, which may (or may not)
come from a mole inside the lab, but certainly isn't authoritative.

epitestosterone in his system and found an imbalance. Gatlin's test was

different. Called a carbon-isotope ratio test, it is essentially a test

that looks only at testosterone, not epitestosterone, and can determine

whether the testosterone in a person's system is natural or unnatural.

In his statement, Gatlin said he tested positive for "testosterone or
its precursors" "Precursors" is another term for anabolic steroids."

Gatlin looks pretty guilty. His coach is saying someone sabotaged
Gatlin.

an hallucinogen:

Indeed thanks for reposting, had missed that.
Hard to tell, the guy knew he faced a lifetime ban, so it's a bit
unlikely he would take such a risk, and he says he'd been watching his
back for a while, who knows.

Not sure if CIR is the same as IRMS but L'Equipe has been reporting
since the beginning this was done for Landis too, looks like there's
some spin to let it sink in with the dubious T/E ratio.

I wonder if these guys are not taking a chance because the CIR/IRMS
testing only gets done if the T/E ratio looks suspicious.
