It's a song by Frank Sinatra.

Very few people knew that he was singing about domestiques (mules), and
Al (fish). It's all about the Tour.

A fish won't do anything, but swim in a brook
He can't write his name or read a book
And to fool the people is his only thought
And though he's slippery, he still gets caught
But then if that sort of life is what you wish
You may grow up to be a fish

ps I actually believe Al is much better this year; I think he did read a
book.

...and then you need a tv that accepts pal-formatted input...cheers,
johnThere are programs that will convert from PAL. Nero is one.

Now I'm on my desktop system, I notice that I normally use DVD Shrink.
That's freeware.

Got a favorite?
I was trying to refer to other ways of getting movies, but without
getting in trouble with law enforcement. The problem is that
I was so obscure, no one else figured it out.

Ah right. I'm more of a usenet alt.binaries guy myself.

Please - respect the cultural icons: "Swinging on a Star" - A song
written for Bing Crosby by Jimmy Van Heusen, later also performed by
Frank Sinatra.
Mark
You're right, but I thought only records after WWII counted (pun intended).
Actually, the lyrics were by Johnny Burke in this case, although the
great Jimmy Van Heusen supplied the music.

Would you like to swing on a star,
Carry moonbeams home in a jar,
And be better off than you are,
Or would you rather be a mule?

What basis do you have for believing that doping started in 1996?
I think you've set the start at least 90 years too late.

Doping, schmoping.
What is 'doping' this year was 'legal medical intervention' last year.
What is 'legal medical intervention' this year will be 'doping' next
year. Landis achieved on Thursday because (it is alleged) he was hooked
up to a saline drip on Wednesday night to rehydrate. If he had
rehydrated by drinking, he would probably have had stomach problems. Was
the intravenous saline 'doping'? No, not according to this year's rules.
Taking HuGH[1] is now illegal. Eating a beefburger containing
artificially elevated levels of bovine growth hormone[2] is currently
illegal in Europe, but not in the US. Will eating US big macs be banned
next year?
[1] genuine typo. But, worth it.
[2] and antibiotics, and steroids.

What rules have changed in these two years? Saline drip has been
legal always are far as I know. Is it being banned next year?

What with [censored] trying to ban altitude tents, who knows what he'll try
next.
