A few years ago I lost alot of weight low-carbing, but eventually fell
off the wagon, and have been struggling to get back on ever since. In
fact, I can probably blame it on around the time I met my partner 😉 I
didn't have the skills to be able to live in the "real world" and low
carb.
I've just come across a photo I took about a year ago, when I was full
of good intentions of getting back on low carb. I'm gutted that I'm
still the same weight (if not abit more), and I've wasted a year!!
I have a few health issues I'm trying to get to the bottom of, with the
help of my doctor. But the good news is she has recommended a low GI
diet, because I have a definite intolerance to gluten (as well as being
just plain fat!)
Other than the possible PCOS and possibly thyroid problems, I'm in
reasonable health. Just need to get back on the wagon, and get stuck
in!
I need to lose about 66lbs to be at what my doctor considers a healthy
weight. For now, I'm just doing my best to lose half of that,
preferably by the end of this year. That was actually the point I
became abit unstuck last time. I suddenly reached a weight where I
didn't hate my body, and I think I relaxed abit too much.
So, here I go again. 🙂
