facing rider in front of the front facing rider. It was claimed this
would be much more aerodynamic without the use of a fairing.P

I've seen a similar setup but the riders work 'against' each other in a sort of "bicycle tug-o-war".

then, I'd argue that the torque is on the cogs.) Off the cogs, it's just
massive tension.--
