After reading various bits and bobs on this group, and moving from a
shift-working toolbox toting hardware engineer, to a 9-5 software
engineer, I took the plunge and spent an absolute fortune on a brompton
M3L (it's twice the price of my car!)
I haven't ridden it in anger yet, however I've already caused problems.
I took the built in pump off, and can't figure out how to re-attach it!
Any hints?
(I'll let you know how my first ride to work went after I do it)
My route is from London Charing Cross, via the Mall, Hyde Park Corner,
Hyde Park, Kensington Hight Street, Sinclair Road (West of the WLL),
andacross shepehrds bush green, as I already know that route.
Additional thoughts, I was little wobbly to begin with, I haven't
ridden a bike (aside from an OyBike a couple of times) for 3 years, and
those had 26" wheels. I've stableised myself now, but I find I'm
struggling when indicating.
Oh well, wish me luck anyway, at least it's downhill to the station.
