  1. Hey folks,

I'm looking at a Sentinel 1051 for $59.99 & free shipping. Can anyone
recommend anything better? Something good quality & durable under
$60-$75 max. Must hold 2 bikes & clear a rear spoiler.

Comments/information on the Sentinel brand welcomed, too.

    TIA

  4. Thanks for nothing. What a shame it is to enter a newsgroup with a
specific subject matter, pose a question & not get one helpful response.
Whoever is in charge here should change the name to
    alt.mountain-bickering. Carry on.

  5. Their (Saris) Bones racks are good too.

Sounds like you're serious. If you are serious go to rec.bicycles.tech.
Serious people hang out there. You go be serious.

I'm off to work and a ride now, and I'm going to try to be as serious as
    possible.

  12. Btw, I think your rack blows. If you want a decent rack, check out
Hollywood, but then you'll have to pay $$

Your mother drop you on your head as a child, or did she only bottle
feed you (since we're talking about racks...)?

Maybe no one had any useful comments on a $59 rack.

What else could we expect from a deadhead? Anyone who is lame enough
to buy into their neo-hippy weak wannabe blues "music", must be
    "serious" about music as well.

As far as their answer about the rack, buy a pickup and get rid of the
fartcan car with the hideous and useless spoiler.

Wow, you really did some research there.

  18. That's not true. I found out that A.M-B had a FAQ.

And I've got a bones rack. It's good on fart-can cars with a wing up
to at least 110 MPH. But it's not $59 except on eBay, maybe.

As the person currently in charge I take offense
at your attitude, regardless of the problems that
    you have with your rack.

Maybe it's time to turn this thing back over to
GT, despite the fact that the last time I did that
this newsgroup almost went [censored] up.

No, too risky. I'm staying in charge.

Julia, I'm sorry to inform you that you are now
banned. You cannot post on this newsgroup any longer.

I've got a very serviceable one that I got for $12 at a yard sale, so
    there...
