No Online info.... I got one in Aug:

Apollo TdF-100 , 6061 ally frame, sora shifters, shining etreo wheels.....

not bad if they're at 200 quid now!

If my local Halfords do have them, anyone know what frame size is appropriate for someone 5'7"? I
know, I know - go see the bike, stand over it. But general guidelines on sizing roadbikes would
be useful.

No there isn't. Binaries aren't allowed in the newsgroup uk.rec.cycling even if the forum/gateway

users don't understand is that they are indirectly posting to a newsgroup rather than an

Ah, that explains the lack of quoting on some of the messages. My local Halfords carefully avoided
tempting me by selling out a while back.

To those of you that have bought them what's the general opinion. I ask as I was planning to buy a
race type bike for training leading to taking park in triathlon next year. I had planned to spend
about £600ish on a bike but that would be in a while (when I have saved more pennies). Getting one
of these would allow me to buy a bike and SPD shoes today but I don't want to feel like I have let
my eagerness get the better of me :-)

I think that the bike is well worth the money

The only problems i can see with the bike are: -

Pedals - (being replaced with spds any way)

Crank set - (Un named - i felt the chain was sometimes being pulled up at the bottom - which marked
the frame slightly - so I'm replacing this item for a sora one from wiggle for about £50) (to match
the rest of the groupset)

All other components seam fine - (i think ever thing else is a "named" product)

I personnel felt the weight of the bike was more than comparable with others i tried (most
£600 + !!!!)

So my general opinion is the bike is the best £149.99 I've ever spent (shop spoiled - 1cm
scratch on frame)
