Bummer I couldn't hang out longer. I would have like to hit that
buff-o-rama as well as the Milagro post ride Saturday. I almost turned
back when I saw the pizza guy coming as I was leaving!
But I kept things friendly on the home front, which is always important.
I'll have a few photos and maybe even a short video clip sometime soon.
Let's do it again!

Sorry,
Just got caught up with the family thing. Luke and I did some good
riding Saturday morning; I didn't want to abandon him. You know how it
is, I have to get the time with him while I can.

I was looking for you guys at the Clunker Crit, I guess you didn't make it.

A barleywine ride without barleywine, who could have known?

Due to the global shortage of barleywine, this year's ride was the
IPA/Tequila ride and was a blast. It was good to ride with you guys again.

I didn't take one trail photo the entire trip.

After rocketing through the night and snoozing in Ely for the night, I
did have a beautiful second leg home on Sunday morning though.

And looking at your 5 Spot again reminded me that you have a Ti shock
spring, eh? I don't mind the weight of my 5 Spot while riding but with JD
you never know how much you're going to be shouldering your bike and the 5
Spot gets kind of heavy boulder hopping for hours with it shouldered.

Okay, how did you do that pic? Filters on the camera,
Shadow/Highlight tool, levels with a gradient afterwards? Inquiring
minds want to know.

Working with the RAW file in Nikon Capture I
bumped the contrast, bumped the saturation,
enhanced the dark tones and the tweaked the curves
to taste to get a Velvia-like look.

I have a 2.25" by 500 lb spring on my stock Romic. I assume if the Ti
spring is listed as 500 lb it's accurate?

I assume you guys are talking about the Porsche photo? Threaded view on
both Thunderbird and OE is not working for me.

I'm getting contrast, saturation, curves, and good dynamic range for my
prints but for some reason I'm getting crappy results converting from
Adobe RGB/PSD to sRGB/jpg for the web with PS CS.

Did you wipe the bugs off or was it a bug free drive?

Nice, thanks for the 411. I invested in a circular polarizer, and a
graded ND filter a while back and have found them both quite useful.
