That is a knee brace but that isn't me (I was on the other side of the
camera). Not sure how he did it (I've never ridden with one) but he
seemed to do just fine.

That is a knee brace but that isn't me (I was on the other side of the
camera). Not sure how he did it (I've never ridden with one) but he
seemed to do just fine.

When I rode with mine, if it positioned correctly, I didn't notice it
there. If it would slip down, the hinge of the brace would be along a
different axis than my knee. Not painful, just all wrong (stop,
readjust, ride).

Are you converting to sRGB by using the "convert to profile" command
before saving for web? If you don't, it will look fine in PS but crappy
in a web browser (since it's still Adobe RGB).

Yep, that was my first neglect and learned to convert before saving for web
a couple of months ago. Before then my web results were horrible:

This ride had very red dirt and as you can see it's pretty washed out.

Results got much better when I started converting to sRGB:

The KTM orange is better there but the boulders and background hill to the
left are nowhere near as saturated as the PSD version.

Basically I convert the profile to sRGB, which involves no parameters, or
does it, and then Save for Web using at least 90% quality. Many times I'll
look at the result, go back in my workflow, and increase the saturation on
the PSD file, and convert again.

He just rolled it. The turn immediately after the drop made it so you
had to go pretty low speed or wind up in the brush.
I'm pretty confident I would have crashed and burned. It looked even
harder in person until he made it look easy.
