I try to get about 2 grams of protein per kgr of my weight. So I consume whey powder.
I notice that I have a lot of gasses (and smelly ones) when I do this. Is this normal? Isn't this an indication of improper digestion? SHould I cut down rotein? Should I do something different?
BTW, should I consume 2 gr protein per kgr of weight, or per kgr of Lean Body Mass?

It's the protein. Certain brands give worse gas than others.
Whey concentrate tends to cause a lot of farting. Much less so with whey isolate, but it tastes more bitter. A mix tends to work best for me.

Lean Body Mass?
Neither. 1-1.4 grams/kg of *ideal* body weight is enough. Don't waste money on protein.
"I need a lot of protein to get big and strong." A myth that just won't die.

I'm open to listening to this. I'm always open to revising my thinking. So, just as Williams has done, please point out some research that supports your view. I'll read it if you'll present it.

you could always do the research yourself.
That's not the point. I'm not the one handing out very opinionated advice here. If he's going to take issue with people here that have supported their viewpoint with research, don't you think providing some support for his claim is in order?
