  1. I'm going to Steven's sister's home on Wednesday for Passover. Steven
*always* makes these little rolls (can't recall the name) made of Matzo and
a potato kugel (his mother's recipe). Well... he can't make it. He'll be
gone from early morning until about midnight. I have to make the rolls and
potato kugel. Wish me luck. I've never made either before 😉 Then of
course it's off to mother's for Easter Sunday. I don't have to make
anything so I'm off the hook there 😉 What is everyone else doing for
    Easter and/or Passover?

Duh. Gardening and fishing, obviously. What bizarre universe do you live in,
Michael? The weather's gorgeous and you wanna sit around a table gagging on
horseradish and crackers, followed by sitting around a table pretending that
    rabbits lay eggs?

We're going to the second seder at my mom's house. Ellie only knows the
first of the four questions at this point, but it's all good. She's
    guarnateed the afikoman anyhow 🙂

I'm eating a supermarket Easter dinner at ~patches~ house.
    😉

That type of argument is like

    "Bob shot someone"

"Yeah, but don't you remember when Don hit that guy with a bat?"

Currently, trying to answer complicated mathematical questions on the Wiccan

MIL is doing Easter, which is usually a bone-in ham that she whacks hunks
off of and microwaves. Yes, you're reading it right, the ham does not get
baked in the oven, it's just desiccated in the microwave. Then she usually
dumps maple-flavored pancake syrup on top. This is usually served with
whipped potatoes that may or may not be over-mixed and gluey. Green beans
with bacon bits usually round out the meal. There may also be a salad, often
served with bits of what looks like canned cranberry sauce on top, and no
dressing of any sort. Bacon bits again, and perhaps shreds of orange-colored
    cheese-food.

Dessert, I cannot describe adequately, because I always decline. Last time
it was presented as "fruit salad cake" but it looked like every other
dessert she has served when we're there. Coffee is either instant or some
leftover brewed coffee that is kept in a jar in the fridge. She boils water,
puts that in a cup, and adds the refrigerated stuff, so you get about 1/4 or
    less of the original strength.

However, she said she might "change up" the menu, and hinted at a buffalo
pot roast that someone gave her that she has in the freezer. This could be
interesting. I've never had her pot roast. Wish me luck.

I'm bringing Bun-Zilla's brother, some buns, and devilled eggs.

Well duh...nobody takes matzoh ball soup on a fishing trip. Don't you allow

I did ham dinner at my dad's last night and will be doing lamb at my mom's on
    easter.

I'm off the hook for any real cooking though I might throw together another
    spinach pie to bring along.

David's vegetarian so I like to bring along something for him and he really
likes the spinach pie and it's something easy I can make with the gimp hand.
I'd make quiche but sometimes I love quiche and other times just looking at
    the quiche grosses me out.

  19. We are going to do the Easter thingy with
    ham/kielbasa/potatoes/greenbeans/ryebread/deviled eggs and
    tada-----homemade candies.

This year the baby was concerned how to include her bestest best
friend, who is orthodox jewish, and the eldest who is dancing around
with pagan/wiccan/earthreligions. So - I have a chocolate mold of the
last supper, told the little one the truth, that the last supper was
originally a Passover Seder, so bestest bud can have a couple of bars
of this chocolate (it is Kosher, I made sure of that) and I told the
big one just to shut up and enjoy his dinner ;-P !!!!!
