I have recently upgraded to shimano dura ace/ultegra mix which is
brilliant, however I do have a slight problem with my chain slipping
when on the 53 11. bearing in mind that everything is brand new, so
it's obviously not a ware issue. Just to complete things even more,
my mavic sl wheels have a 12-25 dura ace which run fine, no jumping at
all. I have no idea what the problem is !!! Anybody which has any idea
would be greatly appreciated.

restricted from engaging fully onto the teeth of the 11T sprocket
because it's contacting the lockring if not.--

It's just God's way of punishing you for using far too big a gear.... ;-) -
