While servicing my 'zocchi Pro/ETA, I discovered that the spot where I thought
I'd be oh-so-neat and wire-tie the front brake hose to the crown had become
eroded - leaving a nice little groove in the crown.
I don't ride that hard and the thing will probably never break.... but if it
ever did, I'd feel so stupid during that last quarter second of my life that I'm
thinking about retiring this thing and moving on.
Wasn't real thrilled about Marzocchi charging $45.00 for a set of four rubber
seals while Fox charges $15 for the same kit... and the LBS seems to be in love
with Fox. I was thing F100 RLT.
OTOH, I'm looking at the MTB reviews for the 2005 model and see a lot of
comments on leaking seals and clanking bushings.
Is this endemic to Fox? A bad run? Something that's been fixed for 2006?
Smoke?
