Quoted message said:I bought a smoothie maker (Villaware Smoothee-Bar) for $19.99 at JCP Outlet
this afternoon. When I got home, I looked up the reviews for this product
and found they weren't so hot. I guess I'll return it, but I need to know
what smoothie maker you think is the best of all. I have a blender, but I
have to stop and stir it often. Is there one out there that you wouldn't
have to stir and not cost an arm and a leg?
TIA!!!

You have to stop and stir it often. Is that what you said? If this weren't
necessary, what would you be doing during the two minutes while the smoothy
was being made? Meeting with world leaders, curing cancer, and figuring out
a solution to global warming?
You must be friggin' kidding. Is lifting your arm really such an effort? How
huge is your arm? Do you need pullies and rope to hoist your arm?
Fill blender 2/3 with frozen strawberries or other fruit. Pour in enough
orange or other juice to cover fruit halfway. Turn on blender. Count to 30.
If it's so thick that it needs to be encouraged with a spoon or spatula, add
another half cup of juice. Or more. At some point, the mix will begin
swirling without assistance and life will be good.
If this basic recipe is too healthy, add a stick of butter, 3 cups of heavy
cream and 17 cups of sugar. This handy accessory will help you to move your
arm, and the spoon to stir the smoothy:
