  1. I bought some beef ribs today thinking that I wanted to make some soup. Not
I'm thinking that I just want to cook them and eat them.

Any suggestions on how I should prepare them?

    Thanks,
    NancyJaye

  6. I cooked the ribs last night. They were delish. I found the following
    somewhere out on the web....

    Barbecued Beef Ribs

    From Diana Rattray,

Your Guide to Southern U.S. Cuisine.

    INGREDIENTS:

    2 pounds beef ribs
    1/4 cup peach preserves
    1/2 cup water
    juice of 1 lemon
    1-1/2 Tbsp. brown sugar
    1 Tbsp. vinegar
    1/2 tsp. paprika
    freshly ground black pepper
    2 Tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
    PREPARATION:

    Preheat oven to 450°.

Place the ribs on a rack in a shallow baking pan and roast in oven for
    30 minutes.
In a small saucepan, combine all other ingredients and cook over medium
    heat until thickened, stirring constantly.
Remove the ribs and rack from pan and pour off the fat. Reduce oven
    heat to 350°.
Return ribs to the pan, and pour the sauce over them.

Bake uncovered, basting occasionally, until rubs are tender, about 1
    hour.

Thank yourself for not broiling them as "Big Bad Barry" suggested.
