Hi, I'm a college student looking for a good vitamin supplement that
doesn't cost a fortune. I eat mostly from the grocery store and try to
keep it somewhat healthy, but due to my lack of funds and time I eat a
lot of the quick-to-make meals. I'm looking for a fairly cheap
multivitamin that will help give me the nutrients I'm lacking. I'd be
interested in either tablet or liquid (though the liquid can't have too
bad a taste). Any brand recommendations? Thanks a lot!

quality when independently tested, and it's a cheap brand.Susan

I take the following vitamins:
Vitamin C (500 mg) Nature's Own calcium ascorbate
Vitamin E (400 units) Walgreens - convenient source and low cost
Vitamin D (1000 units) don't remember brand
Vitamin B complex Thompson w/rice - low cost and low dose
Folic acid (400 mcg) generally available and is in B complex upping
total to 800 mcgI don't take a vitamin A supplement because I think my diet is adequate
in vitamin A.I also take some minerals and an Omega-3 capsule.
I know that there are some doubts about the efficacy of vitamin E for
cardiovascular problems, but I think that the benefits for the eyes are
established.--
