Normally the lot would be in the rear rack pack that I tend to use more than
the bar bag... contents moved en masse from one recepticle to the other... I
don't have a problem with the stuff in the bar bag, I'm pleased to say, as I
tend to use the bar bag on its own if I'm out for a day or part-day ride. If
I'm carrying stuff like waterproofs, then it's mostly in something on rear
of bike with much less in bar bag. I like the bar bag due to the map pocket
on the top of it, as I like to know I'm heading in the rigght general
direction of where I'm hoping to go :-)

Probably Parkinson's law: stuff expands to fill the space available. So
get a smaller bag, or, fix a block of polystyrene foam in the bag.

My missus did that last time she had a puncture. As I was muniing in
Wales at the time, I couldn't really help much.

Fortunately I had my hands free kit plugged into the phone at one end
and my ear at the other, so I didn't have to either dismount or continue
down the singletrack with my hand to my ear in order to take the call.

That phone had voice recognition as well, so I didn't even have to press
a button to take the call. I just said: "Answer". I miss that phone.
