I wonder how many suckers end up with this as their first "Road" bike?
RRP is $1999.00 it seems. So it's a bargain! ๐

it's not a 'road bike', it's a 'ROAD BIKE RACER BICYCLE MOUNTAIN'... of course...
I've seen this hovering around ebay for a while and thought them a right hoot.
- "aerodynamics spoke" - just the one... ๐
- "shimano 14 speed gear" - oooh... cutting edge technology there. (not that - there's anything wrong with that)
- "parts-only warranty" - not sure what that says about the frame.
- that free water bottle makes all the difference...
what do you expect from a group called "atomic MOTORsports"...
They're MTB is similarly amusing: http://tinyurl.com/bpveq - check out the bar ends!

What about those wheels. And the free water bottle.
Noticed one of their MTB's with no-name Shimano going for $500. Looks like the heaviest bike I have ever seen in my life.
AtomikMamba, that's Italian right ;-)

Actually, this is an "adult" sized bike. One size fits all you know,
you just raise the saddle apparently.
I can't believe people are bidding such silly amounts for this [censored]!
This bike reminds me of the Kmart road bikes you used to be able to get
for $120. Now that would be a more reasonable price. Walmart in the US
is now selling road bikes. With "Revo Twist Shifters for easier gear
control". Wonder if Kmart/BigW will bring back a cheap and nasty road
bike?

the bit I love is this quote:
'' This bike is of top quality in materials and attention to detail.
See it to believe it, pictures don't do this bike justice. It's simply
a work of Art !!! "
The sad thing is that someone is really doing the right thing by
deciding to get a decent road bike, to shell out a decent amount of
dough for it. Some of them are going for $550 - I got a roadie new for
that a couple of years back (Appllo I think it was called). Sure, it
was Sora, but it was a perfectly good bike for commuting and even
weekend bunch rides if you could cope with the snob value. Still just
as fast as those lardy doctors on their Bianchis though...
But I digress.... The poor person who spends a similar amount of this
junk-pile is being punished for doing the right thing. Money wasted,
and possibly a convert to cycling lost for ever.
Cheers

You've gotta love the disclaimer- "We are not responsible for any injury or death arising from the use of this bike"๐
