Hi all. Was hoping to get some advice on buying a new road bike. Few things. Any good shops in the Sydney area? Clarence st Cyclery is the only one I know of. Then what would be a good bike to start on. Would be looking to ride to work 30 min each way. And also at least 1 longer ride +2 hours a week. Price limit under $1300. I appreciate any advice given,

Not sure on the sydney area, but you could try posting this on the beginer bike buying thread, you'll likely get more traffic there

Hey
Cell bikes have a pretty good range for beginners, everything from about the $600 mark into the $1000'sBut i guess all depends on what you want?
There are heaps of decent bike shops around.Clarence st are pretty good, but they mostly deal with the better end of the bike line up.
Something like bikehub would also help.
Just look for something that is running at least Shimano Tiagra running gear (preferably Shimano 105 running gear) and you should be right for the rest of it.
