There was a time when the majority of folks in this new groups used to
post ride reports.
It seems to be the current trend that folks are tending to post a
bunch of BS Off Topic stuff.
Gawd knows I've never posted an OT post ;-)
Anyhow WTF, hope everyone is happy and well in the new year.
I plan on breaking more new ground this year. I have conflicting
feelings about what I'm going to do.
After 15 years or so of MTBing I'm actually going to enter a race this
summer. I've never been one for MTB racing because I ride for more
personal reasons. MTBing has always given me an outlet to relax from
other forms of racing. Now it's all about to come crashing down. My
only hope is to look at this race as a life experience and not as a
race. Once I think about it that way it seems a little easier to
take. I almost feel like I'm cheapening the MTB experience.
I'll be doing the 24 hour Seven Springs MTB race with a bud of mine.
Of course on the SS, wouldn't have it any other way.
RR to follow sometime in 2006.
Happy New Year All,
Bill
