Be simpler to make a "multiplier" - find ouit how much the shifter moves per click, how much the hub needs per click, and make a double-pulley (with some sort of frame-mounting and cable fixing arrangement) with a pulley ratio that make one fit the other.

They're not common, but SA made for years a single-pulley for their shift cables. It was about an inch in diameter; what you would need would be about the same size, easily mounted on the down-tube in the bb area.

The S-A one just changed the direction of the unhoused cable , and was mounted at the seat cluster, the cable would (initially) follow the top tube from teh TT mounted quadrant shifter to the pulley and then down alon the seat stays, and later on it'd go in a bowden cable from bar-mounted trigger to the front of the top tube and transition to housingless there.
