I'm recently back home after a couple of weeks holiday in a much warmer place. Today I went out on a bike for the first time since and I was amazed at the changes which have taken place in such a short time.
All my clothes have become much tighter and the hills have become much steeper. What's been going on? Surely this can't be the result of global warming? -- Brian G

You'll probably find your saddle has turned to stone as well.

Na, I think that's the result of Global Porking.
No. The poplulation explosion is the result of Global Porking.
Then again, if 'Brian' is a girl then his condition could well be the result of a godd porking...

Yes. that extra half degree causes thermal bodily expansion ( which does not effect inert clothing). The increased temperature makes the atmosphere less dense, as most of it has risen. This in turn makes breathing more difficult, giving rise to the feeling that hills are higher, which they also are, due to expansion caused by increased temperature, and a certain amount of rise caused by the reduction in atmospheric pressure. Live with it. --

It also heats up and relaxes the spring in your scales, and therefor the number shown on the display will be higher.

Wow, thank goodness! There was me thinking it was all caused by two weekls of Margeritas and Pina Coladas ;-)
