hungry!).
As usual, I will be hosting the Steelers game this week. One of my friends
just told me he's allergic to whey. This stuff is EVERYWHERE!! I'll have
to do a bit of research, but need to get something together for this
weekend. Pot Roast / Roasted Veggies should be safe. Snacks? Buffalo

That takes care of this week.........does any one have ideas? I look
forward to your input.........
Buffalo wings are a safe bet.
Just avoid dairy.
It's harder to avoid corn than it is whey IMHO. ;-)
Make some baked home fries. Easy and always a bit hit!
Buy some yukon gold or red skinned spuds. Clean/scrub them off (do NOT
peel! This is an easy, low work recipe).
Slice them about 1/3" thick, then turn the slices on their sides and
slice again to make 1/3" square fry strips.
Toss in the oil of your choice (I prefer olive or grapeseed oil) in a
large bowl.
Sprinkle liberally with your choice of seasonings (I prefer either lemon
pepper or a fajita mix). If you don't want to use a pre-mixed spice, try
salt, pepper, a bit of onion and garlic powder, and some dried celery
leaf.
Place them on a cookie sheet and spread them out flat. This works better
if they are not touching each other.
Bake in the oven at 375 F. until they start to brown.
These were always a big hit when I made them for Dungeons and Dragon all
night games back in college. ;-) Cheap too!
Cheers!
