  1. Mike Dales, the MCofS Access and Conservation Officer is preparing to talk
on the radio on the subject 'Human Sanitation in the Hills'. In order to
have some feedback from hillgorers before he goes, we've created a short
    questionniare at
    http://www.mountaineering-scotland.org.uk/access/questionnaire.html

Can I ask those who spend time in the Scottish hills and mountains to take a
couple of minutes to complete and submit this.

    thanks,

Just filled it in, but the "what do I do with it" is a variable answer,
according to what I've got to hand and may range from burial to loose
    rock cover.

Perhaps you may wish to add a note asking what happens to the paper...
I used to leave it with the poo but now I bag it and either carry it out
    or burn it.

I sometimes use a plastic bag, but you have to aim carefully :-)

Do people really get caught short that often? I think it's happened to me
    three times in 25 years!

  7. If you have only been three times in 25 years I suggest you make an
appointment with the Doctor... I go every day.

    Perdo :-)
