  1. The human body does not use carbohydrates for energy. We do not use
sugar for energy. Or glucose for energy. We get our energy, are powered
by, ATP. Adenosine triphosphate (among some other things that aren't
glucose). Yes, everything must enter glycolysis to produce ATP, but
glucose by itself does not power the body. There's a powerful bond
between phosphates in ATP and it's ready to burst and there's a lot of
energy packed in there. That's my scientific explanation.

If I'm wrong correct me and call me an idiot. I think about 1% of the
population knows about ATP. Just seems like it should be more. It's
    annoying.

That might be one of the dumbest things ever said on MFW.

    Wow.

Nothing by itself powers the body, so what?

    Bursting phosphates, got it.

You're were only allowed to call me an idiot if you "corrected me if I
was wrong." I don't see any corrections.

Apparently you can't read either. He explained it in perfect english.

Apparently "correct me if I'm wrong" is the hard part of that sentence.
    ahhhhhh hah hahaha hahaha.

Those were corrections? I don't think so. Still waiting.

    Zilch. You.

Ok so correct something that I said in my post to justify calling me an
idiot. It's not hard. I didn't say anything difficult. Well?

So instead of silly carbs and proteins and fats we should all just
    consume ATP? Cool!

I've got one about training your enzymes to be better butter burners. I
think I can trot it out and top your science with my voodoo magic.
    Shall we try?

ATP is part of how. But it isn't the piece of the process that we can
control. We get to control the inputs. Which happen to be carbs,
    proteins, fats and alcohol.

    Cool name. What's in mean?

Are you here to troll us? You started out well, with a strong
assertion. Have you been studying up on this?

    Trolling, I mean.

Hey folks, we got a new troll. Pretty imaginative if you ask me.
Making up big words, and claiming only 1% of us know about it, is
    creative genius. I give him a 5.5

ATP is for intra-cellular energy transfer. The energy has to be transported
    to the cells somehow.

Recent studies show that the brain is quite happy to use ketones for energy
    in preference to glucose.

If all else fails you can try ethanol as a fuel source 😄

That comment coming from another troll does not count.
