    MoM

She is so tiny. My gosh. What breed is she?

    Michael

    chihuahua. She's 4 now.

At the art show in Davenport there was a woman with a large stroller...
you'd expect a child in a stroller, right? Nope. 4 small shaggy terriers
sitting there taking in the view along with a [censored] and a chihuahua hanging
    out of her purse.

Too cute. Also saw a HUGE English bull mastiff, less than 2 years old and
that dog was BIG; 180 lbs and not yet 2 years old. That night we talked
about what must be the size of mastiff pups? The next day there was a 20
pound bull mastiff pup, only 10 weeks old. Yep, hefty dogs! Forget about
carrying one of those around in a backback or stroller!

    I think it's stress relief. <lol>

Oh I dunno. It's not uncommon for cat owners to treat their pets FAR
better than they do fellow humans! ;-)

    I'm betting they eat well.....

It's because cats, unlike fellow humans, aren't judgemental.

white named "Laurel", but she passed away from a spinal tumor.

We have one Tuxedo tom named "Wizard".

I read an interesting book review a few years back. The book was about
one of the most powerful Nazis, responsible for the slaughter of many
innocent people. He had a dog, whom he loved dearly, and the book went
into detail about that. There had been other criticism about this
author, for making this horrible Nazi seem to have a good side. The
review pointed out that almost everybody loves somebody or something,
and that demonizing someone just left you immune to the next person who
came along and did something horrible.

So long as we're showing off cats here are my three:

    Randy:

    Emily:
    http://members.cox.net/doctoryes/emilysit2.jpg

    Cosimo:
    http://members.cox.net/doctoryes/cosimo3.JPG

Interestingly the recurring them with regard to color seem to be
    gradients of black/white.

Randy and Cosimo are beautiful furbabies, Tony, but I couldn't pull up the
picture of Emily. Cosimo is a wonderful color but he doesn't really
qualify as a tuxedo. Tux's have to be pure black and white, but don't tell
    him! :-)

    That's what I figured...... :-)

Anyone that truly loves cats cannot be all bad.

Except that people that hate cats are usually control freaks, and they
    are usually serious dog lovers!

Don't get me wrong, I do love dogs but I also adore cats.
Many dog fanatics hate cats because cats are far more independant and
don't have the "slave" personality that most dogs do.

Most abusive people that I've known, (people that abuse other humans)
    have been dog lovers/cat haters.

    Cheers!

    Pretty boy. ;-)
    Looks annoyed tho.

He's always been a bit of a cranky cat, particularly since Emily came
into the picture when he was 3.

    Well fed. ;-)
We have a chubby gray like that named "Maris".
Sweetest little girl on the face of the planet!
She's our only obese kitty. Looks like a gray basketball with
a little kitty head stuck on one end......

He's the most laid back cat I've ever come across. Of course when one is
laying on the couch it's a bit uncomfortable when he wants some human
    interaction time.

Interestingly he has two traits that lead me to believe he may have Main
Coon ancestry. First, he's got the extra toes (polydactyl) on his front
paws, and also has tufted fur growing from the pads of his feet. Those
    are telltale Main Coon traits.

Oh I dunno. It's not uncommon for cat owners to treat their pets FAR
better than they do fellow humans! ;-)

    I'm betting they eat well.....

It's because cats, unlike fellow humans, aren't judgemental.

    True... ;-)
But they are good judges of character, as are dogs.
If your pet does not like someone, you should probably avoid them!

I'm not too sure about that. Randy is everyones friend, as is Cosimo to
a certain degree. But Emily doesn't want any part of strangers.
