Ohhhhh! Yes! Now I see Emily! What a gorgeus cat! I love black cat!!!!!
    What yellow big eyes!!!!!
    beautiful! Many compliments!

We both thank you. Emily isn't really a black cat - she's more a very
deep reddish brown - you can see it in the picture. She also has a bit
of a tortie pattern on her when you put her under bright light.

All 6.5lbs (Actually she's put on a little weight and is probably 8lbs.
    right now)

Probably she follow a "mice diet"! 🙂

She does to a certain degree. She's the best mouser I've ever met but
she doesn't eat them. Instead she rips their bellies open and then hides
them in places like the couch, etc. First there's the un locatable
smell, and then you're flipping cushions one day and there's this
mummified corpse of a mouse that pops out.

Cosimo is another mouser but he just wounds them and yowls for one of us
to come and get rid of it. I don't know how many of you have ever seen a
cat as large as Cosimo do a pouncing move, but it's the funniest thing
    you'll ever see.

    Pretty boy. ;-)
    Looks annoyed tho.

He's always been a bit of a cranky cat, particularly since Emily came
into the picture when he was 3.

It's amazing isn't it how easy it is to interepret cat body language? ;-)
    They are SO expressive.

    Well fed. ;-)
We have a chubby gray like that named "Maris".
Sweetest little girl on the face of the planet!
She's our only obese kitty. Looks like a gray basketball with
a little kitty head stuck on one end......

He's the most laid back cat I've ever come across. Of course when one is
laying on the couch it's a bit uncomfortable when he wants some human
    interaction time.

    <grins> I can imagine.
I have one big yellow stripy tom named "Garfael" that weighs about 14
lbs. He's not obese tho', he's just BIG!

    Quoted message said:

Interestingly he has two traits that lead me to believe he may have Main
Coon ancestry. First, he's got the extra toes (polydactyl) on his front
paws, and also has tufted fur growing from the pads of his feet. Those
    are telltale Main Coon traits.

Huh! I have a small long haired dark tiger with white markings that has
the poofy hairs between the toes. (his name is Horus and he weighs about
    4 lbs.)

Manx's also tend to have extra toes.

Polydactilism is a trait that's particular to New England of all places.
History indicates that seagoing cats tended to be Maine Coons and as
they interbred that trait got passed along.

    Pandora

Thanks. They're very amusing to have around and they do their part in
    this house.

I munged the address for the emily pic - change jpg to JPG.

Huh. Didn't think URL's were that case sensitive?

Emily looks a lot like my big Lilly girl. :-)
She's a real "face" kitty and loves kisses.

You can use mixed case in URL's - it's just that the crappy Kodak camera
I used to take those insists on naming everything .JPG - needless to say
    I don't use it anymore.

My $25 CVS digital camcorder interfaces to my computer very nicely. It's
not the highest quality video but for the price it gets the point
    across.
