Usually I look forward to cycling retail therapy, but not when it's due to having stuff pinched..
Anyway, will be ordering a Ti frame and bits from XACD in the next few days, and some probikekit.com stuff soon thereafter. If any of y'all want to get some stuff in my order, let me know. I can then either xpresspost bag it out to you, or you can pick it up from me in Perth. Share cost of shipping and duty etc pro-rata. Will still be a LOT cheaper than Aus prices.
Mid next week for Ti order I'm guessing, and toward the end of the week for the balance of the stuff.
dang! Im still awaiting council damages claim before I put in my xacd order. Seeing as they are churning out slightly different frames/tubing for setavento.com (amongst others) it might be worth asking what they offer now in way of variations, or simply say you want a 'setavento-type' frame. the tubing they use is butted now (at least for them), as opposed to what was straight gauge stuff previously.

Cheers David M
I bought one of these frames a couple of years ago. I sent the money from the Commonwealth Bank and paid the fees assuming all would be fine. However the money went from the Commonwealth Bank, via the New York Bank then the Bank Of China. Of course all of the banks wanted a cut so when the money arrived in XACD's account it was short.
My recommendation would be to try and find a Bank of China branch (if you can) and deposit there as it may save some heartache and fees. BTW all worked out in the end
Thanks Peter. I've done it a couple of times before and noted now that XACD include $25 allowance in their quote for "bank charges" I can't recall them doing that before so I assume it's a common issue. My solution in the past has been to order an additional seatpost or other small bit and that can be sacraficial if needed.
