Just a few minor ones: a new, faster server is now online, and my broadband has been upped to 2Mbit, so for those who are interested there should be less waiting around now.
My eyesight is recovering slowly, so I might even get around to some new content in the next couple of days.
The server software is beta (Domino R7 beta 4 to be exact) so please be patient if there are niggles. Looks pretty solid so far, though, or I would have stuck with the Gold release.
If by this you mean you're running the webserver over ADSL or cable, and you've upgraded to 2Mbit - this won't make any difference whatever to the speed we get your website.

Agreed - unless you've bought SDSL, your upstream bandwidth will still be 256kbps. The only speedup will be the rate at which our HTTP requests arrive, although a) they are negligible in size and b) our upstream bandwidth will limit it.

Unless he's bonded a couple of 1Mb/s lines together...

Nice for you, no difference for us.
Kind of agreed. Unless his upload was 128kb before ...
Still, your 2kb tcp/ip query will get there quicker ...

Said server would appear to be somewhere on Demon. Unclear from the hostnames (and two hops are not named) if this is ADSL.

I would nmap it, but that wouldn't be considered very gentlemanly conduct.
I submit that on or about 15 Sep 2005 02:45:38 -0700, the person known to the court as "iakobski" <[email hidden]> made a statement (<[email hidden]> in Your Honour's bundle) to the following effect:

Depends: I use a fair bit myself, so there should be more left for you lot :-)
