  1. What's better after running for recovery? A glass of fresh OJ? Or
    gatorade?

"As democracy is perfected, the office of president represents, more and
more closely, the inner soul of the people. On some great and glorious day
the plain folks of the land will reach their heart's desire at last and the
White House will be adorned by a downright moron."

Aye, that's a fine brew. Tartan ale is good, and Bellhaven scottish
    ale even better.

I'll take the OJ, for myself.

Given a choice between something that is made on a farm, and
something that is made in a factory, I'll take the one that is made
on a farm. I have a theory that than almost any food that comes
from a farm is better for me than any "food" that is made in a factory.

And, any ingredient that I can't pronounce is probably carcinogenic.

While I wholeheartedly agree with natural vs processed, OJ is a fruit
juice, but Gatorade is specifically designed to replace the things
lost during running. That's the reason I'm asking. Personally I'll
take OJ over GA for taste anytime.

i agree with the sentiment but farms are essentially factories at this stage
of the game unless you're talking about locally grown or organic type
    operations.

  13. For me, it's a struggle to keep anything down after a run, let alone
something as acidic as OJ, so I'd go with the sports drink. If you
despise that, you can also just put some honey (and a teeny tiny tad of
salt) into water and get close to the same effect as gatorade. There
are also non-gatorade drinks that target replenishing glycogen stores
asap, but I don't recall their names at the moment.

Not an issue with me. I last had acid stomach in 1987.

Somehow, I doubt that. A dab of honey won't do much for your
electrolyte replacement, but it will rot your teeth faster than
anything on earth. I still have 20lbs of raw honey sitting in the
    bucket in my kitchen.

First, you need to run. Then you can worry about recovery.
