"Down Syndrome Fetuses: A Case for Prophylactic Abortion"
Thanks a whole lot. I'm pro-choice but anti-abortion. I don't do well in this debate. But here goes.
My hip is injured and I can't run and it is driving me crazy. So tonight I brought my kindergarten kid to "Family Night" at the pool with me to play "tag". I spent half an hour running in waist-deep water while he tried to catch me. When he caught me I'd carry him around with me until he swam off and we'd start again. Not only did we both get in good workouts, but we were having the most fun of anyone there... except for a woman with her grown son. He was splashing joyfully and just having a grand old time in the water. The son was maybe 30 years old. I found myself envying her a bit. My cutey-pie little boy is going to be all grown up any day now. (My twelve year old son isn't likely to spend time playing tag with his mom at the pool.) But this woman has a loving child to keep her company until the day she dies.
Down's Syndrome isn't awful, it's just different. It has joys and sorrows just like parenting a normal kid does. No child is going to be worry-free. So go ahead and have your Trisomy kid. You'll be blessed by it.

How's that?
Terrible and estrogen filled. If I was told by the doc tests showed the kid was going to come out with DS, I would go in there myself with a spoon and terminate it.

As the parent of a special needs child I can say without doubt that you just destroyed any respect I had for you.

Your personal experience is irrelevant. It's great you love your special needs kid, but given the choice, I would want the option to terminate, and if they were not already in this world, I would want to save them and I the heartbreak of such afflictions.
There is much to respect about Will. His family values just aren't on that list.
Imagine that dolt teaching kids? It's no wonder this countrys a mess.

Hmmm. I am sure that if I had the time and desire I could come up with a pretty convincing argument comparing the pains and benefits of raising such a child with the pains and benefits of working out/lifting weights.
You mean like those MA gun laws you claimed didn't exist and I found in 10 seconds of searching "Bill"?
WTF are you talking about idiot? I never mentioned "gun laws" other than only a punk needs a gun, which of course is why you have several.

Yes, it has morons like you living in it.
Yes imagine if morons like I were in charge of this country? We'd have no war, PROSPEROUS jobs for all (or most) and the world would respect us again. Yeah, that'd be a bad thing all right.
