  1. Isn't it amazing how much juggling you can do with
a day's menu? I fill out my entire day's worth of
food the night before. If I don't have enough
calories left by dinner to allow 2 tbsp of peanut
butter with celery, then the tradeoffs start. Cut
from 2 tbsp mayo to 1, or use mustard instead.
Need a few less carbs? Trade the Brussels sprouts
for lettuce and so on. You get real good at
    bartering after a while : )

We economists (or MBA's from economics heavy B-schools) would talk
about this in terms of "economic cost" which factors the regular cost
of something (the carb count on B-Sprouts) and the "opportunity" cost
of it (having to pass on PB&C to have B-Sprouts instead of Lettuce). By
weight the benefit of the regular cost against the foregone benefit of
the opportunity, you can really understand what having B-sprouts means.
In my case, I hate B-sprouts, so would always take the PB & Cel, but
    your utility may vary.

would probably be advised to look elsewhere.
