Goddamm, you are as dumb as ever. Rasmussen's gonna lose 10+ minutes in
    the time trial?

    thanks,

    K. Gringioni.

No, but he'll drop out after falling and breaking his collar bone
trying to avoid my dog before the start in Corbeille Essonnes.

Then you shouldn't be letting your girlfriend out on the road without a
    leash.

On a 55km ITT Lance should put 2 to 8 minutes on the other top GC guys.

    Yes,

  6. You didn't even guess your proposed winners time. Your post should have
    read time gap to winner.

You think Ullrich is going to put almost 3:42 into Basso?

    No way.

And to not have Rasmussen in there. Damn, he's not THAT damn bad in a
    TT.

Put a carrot in front of some of these guys and they can keep up. Look
at Pantani in Giro '98 and TdF '98.

A "carrot"? Is that what they call it now? I'd heard some call it
"wasp" or "motivation" but never "carrot." You learn something new
    every day.

I wonder what the weather will be like. If it's wet, it might be
reasonable for Lance to ride a safe, conservative TT that leaves the
door open for someone else going all out to win.

OTOH, it might be important to Lance to win the ITT since he hasn't won
    any stages yet.

Either way, I would bet that Ullrich finishes closer to Lance than he
    did in the prologue.

The idea is to hang a carrot from a stick and put it out in front of
the donkey or mule you are riding. He will move his stubborn ass
forward for the carrot, never reaching it.

I'll bet that no riders (not one, not any) in the top-10 lose more than
8-minutes. In fact, I doubt any of them will lose more than 5 minutes, and
    that's pushing it.

I think 3-4 minute losses will be the max for anyone within the top-10.

You have been trolled. You have lost.

The idea is you put the carrot in front of the riders,
and the wasp in the behind.

Most riders find putting the wasp in the arm to be a more comfortable
    option.

Personally I hope you're right; I hope the hard working Rasmussen loses
    less
than 5 minutes. Levi, Floyd, Jan, Vino, and Basso should all be within
3 minutes or less of Lance.

    Too bad about Kloeden's wrist.

Oh, ok. I thought maybe he hadn't heard of the carrot thing before.

If trying to help out people who ask stupid questions on rbr.....
looks like I'm going to get trolled and lose a lot.
