Hello, everyone. I've seen a lot of wedgie blasting on this NG again. Am I the only person who finds
it a little tedious? Yes, 'bents are better than standups in certain conditions--downhill, flats,
etc., but how many folks have taken a 'bent on a singletrack trail, jumped logs, and crossed
ditches? Sure, some folks can win climbing competetions on 'bents, but how many can outsprint the
hardcores on their standups?
'Bents are great--I own two, but there are still ways in which a standup is superior. That's why I
have a mountain bike. Can't we just celebrate our good fortune for having made wise choices for
ourselves and wish our friends on standups the best?
