I'm sure many of you are doing this already but in case you didn't know
there is a 115m (or thereabouts) overnight ride from Hackney to Dunwich
on the Suffolk coast next Saturday 23rd, free entry just turn up and
ride. Never done it myself this will be my first time but I hear it is
very well supported with catering etc en route. There are several
transport options back, including riding. Who's up for it?

Riding back? Are you serious? Actually, hear that people do that.
Go for it, I say!
I hope to goodness I make it one way, after my pathetic performance today
of making it from London to Gatwick. If you're planning to do it, get your cheque off for the coach back
sharpish. £20 now. -

back. I rode back in 2003 and great fun it was too, in spite of, or perhaps
becuase of, the weather being similar to yesterday's...--

Oh - it does sound like awfully good fun. I don't have the bottle to
do it myself, but I look forward to reading the reports afterwards. -

Not this year, sadly.
I'm booked for a concert on Saturday night in Hampstead (so could have
left late), but Thomas' birthday party on the sunday sealed it I'm
afraid. And I was lining up a stoker/kid for the night too.
Have a good night,

Hmm, reservation? and if so do you trust them to have only booked two
bikes or whatever onto the single car 153 unit? -

I'll be there, [censored] weather or not. The train and coach fare were too
expensive... -
Should be there, and riding home afterwards (25 miles to Woodbridge),
assuming I don't have any injuries from riding grass-track cycling
earlier in the day.MartinM said:

Mine will be a black Thorn Nomad with black rims and spokes. <Spinal

answer is none. None more black.(it's going off for a metallic orange respray before winter).

which you speak, but if there isn't room on the train I shall sulk.Tim

And not an ordinary yellow - it's a burn-your-retinas-out fluorescent
yellow, which is great for being seen by in daylight :-)Cheers, helen s
