Could anyone venture an opinion of the midge menace in the Glen Lui/Linn of
Dee area at the moment and for the next week?
TIA

The Scottish midge is presently at its peak mating regularly and
producing millions more. The only way to avoid the female from
attacking you is to stay covered up and use some protection, although
as seen from other sites they don't work very well.
Best deterent - wind and not your own. They also don't like strong
sunlight but we only get that occasionally.
Sunday looks to be a breezy day so you should be okay then.

The greatest influence on midge abundance is the weather. Read the
forecast and pray for strong winds!
