Is there an archive to search for past posts? Although I've been on this newsgroup for months, my @#$% Outlook Express reader refuses to stop deleting anything over 10 days old. It seems that was the default option and regardless of what I change it will not keep older posts. I've fiddled with all the Outlook Express options and rules but it will not change its behavior. Anyone got some suggestions?
In any event, I'd like to search an archive if one is available.
and then go to search box and then type in: alt.rec.bicycles.recumbent EZ Biker :-) Pompano Beach, Fl. (GRR Ti and SOON, Bacchetta Aero Pilot)

Google has already been suggested.
I assume you use OE's "syncronize" function to download new messages from various groups? Well, OE is doing what you told it to... "syncronize" your computer with your ISP's news server. Once a message is gone from the server, OE also deletes it from your computer. You may want to create a "local" folder in OE, then use Edit, Select all...... Edit, Copy to Folder..... to safely stash them away.
