  1. I came to this news group because I thought it was for alternative health. I
    have studied and used
alternative (natural) ways to restore my health. It is working very well for
me, particularly since I started using a particular ginseng.
http://www.glowlife.com/ So, I decided to become a distributor (MLM) and
come here and offer this product to others who needed help. A simple act and
from my heart. I was immediately attacked by a couple of apparently angry
people, the most angry of which seems to be Mark. I know he has had some bad
things befall him and I'm sorry for that, but it isn't my fault. I have told
him that the ginseng will help calm him and lose his anger. I mean that and
know that it will help him. I want to take a minute here and explain why the
    natural way.

For those who don't know, I was diagnosed as having asthma, C.O.P.D.
    (Enphysema) and
Congestive Heart Failure. I have been taking Korean-Panax Ginseng and am
    recovering.
Yesterday, Friday July 11, I had a followup appointment with my Lung
    Specialist (MD). He
is considered one of the best in my area. A week earlier I had bumped into
    him in the clubhouse
of my golfclub, where I now play every day, and he was surprised to see me
    there. See Dave's
Story http://www.glowlife.com/index5.html . Yesterday he told me that I
    had severe lung damage
and serious heart disease and he was afraid that I would keel over and die
on the golf course. If I
accepted his advice I would sit around, slowly deteriorate and die. I could
go on, but suffice to say, the only path to health lies in finding a natural
way. It's like the Law of Gravity, it really doesn't matter whether you
choose to believe in it or not, it still has power over your life. Natural
ways are in tune with nature. If you think nature has no power, catch a
lightening bolt. Take a boat ride in a huricane. If you choose to believe
that only medical science can help you, God help you. (He's the natural way)

I will say again, there are a number of natural ways to regain your health.
I found my way and merely
offer it to you for your consideration.

    Mark for President!

Is the Mayne Group a snake Oil company Peter ?

If you mean the division which runs the private hospitals, no.

If you mean the division which runs the conventional medical centres,
no (although I have seen a stack of promotional material for a Mind
Body Spirit Festival at one of their centres)

If you mean the division which runs conventional medical pathology
    laboratories, no.

If you mean the division which does transport and logistics, no.

If you mean the divisions (like those above) which identify themselves
as part of the Mayne organisation and carry the red circle logo, no.

If you mean the division which, despite close ties with a logistics
and distribution company, managed to recycle recalled products back
    onto retail shelves, yes.

If you mean the division which keeps its connection with the Mayne
group a secret unless someone asks them outright or orders some of
    their products recalled, yes.

If you mean the division which advertises in New Zealand quackery
magazines using language which would probably be illegal in Australia,
    yes.

Ahh ! now I get it. Mayne only sells snake oil but does not manufacture it
and it is all the fault of our cousins who live in the shakey isles.

So it was likely the TGA targetted Pan Pharmaceuticals "Cleaning Division"
which was run by Kiwis (using illegal language) from the New Zealand
    Quackery Magazines.

Perhaps it was the illegal language that the TGA meant to target but someone
got their wires crossed and thought "dirty" applied to process rather than
    the processors.

    "Bowditch Law" is simply amazing.

Selling products & services is against the charter of MHA. It would be just
as inappropriate for someone to sell Paxil or gym memberships here.

What's the MHA charter say about perpetual flame wars - most

I only ask because these seem to be the prevelent courses of

    Arguing ain't selling.

I'm a big proponent of vendors paying for their advertising.

    Michele
I ENJOY being a cranky [censored].

    fred & michele said:

    Arguing ain't selling.

    Hmmmm. Where to start here....

    1. You made a very stern statement in which you admonished somebody
else for not observing the MHA charter. In other words, you were
    acting like a netcop.

    2. In response to your netcopping the other poster, I replied with
asking you what the MHA charter says about perpetual (and mostly
off-topic) flame wars. [You know - those conversations which comprise
about 95% of the bandwidth in this group].

    3. The word "selling" could very well be defined as the act of
transferring enthusiasm about a product or service from one person to
another. It could be positive (for) or negative (against) a product
    or service.

    For example:

    a. You're a massage therapist. You have espoused the therapeutic
benefits of massage. Thus, you were in essence, selling massage.

    b. I am a chiropractor. I have espoused the therapeutic benefits of
chiropractic. Thus, I was in essence, selling chiropractic.

    c. Kingoff/Ilsa is an acupuncturist. Same thing for him and his
    chosen profession.

    d. The MHA croonies have a keen, and long-standing interest in the
decimation of anything that falls outside of orthodoxyl (allopathic)
medicine. Thus, they are, in essence selling the virtues of
allopathy, and the condemnation of alt.health.

So Michele, with all due respect, I wholeheartedly disagree
with your argument based on the above listed reasons. Off-topic flame
wars represent the vast bulk of the traffic in this newsgroup. The
flame wars are perpetuated by generally the same 10 or so people.

We're ALL selling. We're ALL salespeople (whether you want to
    admit it or not).

    Quoted message said:

I'm a big proponent of vendors paying for their advertising.

Why? Does that somehow make their products "better"? Does
forcing them to pay out the nose somehow elevate the ethics of the
transaction somehow? All I can see it doing is driving the costs up
(the increased costs are, by the way, passed onto the customer).

By the way, the most effective and most powerful form of
marketing (word of mouth ) is free.

The word Ass-Clown well defines Atlas & Stuart Hyderman. As for spam, it is
an attempt to market, for sale, goods or services in a non-commercial
newsgroup. It is wrong even if there are other wrongs committed. Two wrongs

Sure, the MHA faithful are sticklers for reality, truth, facts, and efficacy,

What a wonderful insight into Atlas' education at Palmer. He's a saleman, not
