That is a ridiculously strong team.
Been awake the last few weeks? I think not.
Tom
Looks like a european team, with only 2 Americans in it.

You aren't kidding and they're missing Eki. Lance has said that he
feels this is the strongest team he's ever started the race with, and
on paper it looks like it.

Tom
Oops. Looked only at the Velo news tdf guide, didn't check up to date
info. Sorry about the spelling. Eyes are just as good as the rest of me.
Which is old.

Who do you think they'd have left off if Eki was able to ride? Hard to
pick...maybe Noval?

And if all goes well, by the end of July it will be hailed as the
strongest Tour team *ever*.

Yeah, that'd be my guess but it's still a hell of a lineup. It really
sucks that he's not able to be there for Lance's last run at it. Nobody
on the team deserves it more than him, since Hincappie's in. I still
have trouble believing how well George rode for the team last year.
He's just rock solid in the support role and has gotten better climbing
too.

Dumbass -
He's even stronger this year.

I had almost forgotten how well GH got the team (and Lance) through the
first and most of the second week - remember how they had a site to vote on
the best domestique, which George won almost hands down? If he was a strong
rider last year, he'll be awesome this year, imo. (IIRC, Floyd came in
second in that little contest.)
jj
He'll loose, and GH won't look so good all of a sudden.

But what will be left when LA doesn't win the tour?

If loose the bike mechanic can just tighten it.
