  1. Just let me be the first to explain the most important rule.

1/. Not everyone has the pleasure of watching Eurosport.
2/. Put "SPOILER:" in front of any spoiling posts
3/. This list will be added to ... please be responsible ... 🙂

  2. Well, maybe put TdF: in front of any spoil post.

I dunno, but British Eurosport is now available on Top up TV.

    £7.99 PAYG for one month.

So you can watch it live every day for 7.99 with no min period?
(Although hardly worth it for the 3 days I will be at home during the
whole race) thanks for the heads up anyway ;-)

Only thing to point out, they only have rights to show Eurosport from 2pm -
11pm. Should all be fine for le tour though.

    At the TUTV website.

Do be aware, though, that there is a connection charge, and that they actually
take *two* months (and claim to return one month when you cancel). You *must*
use a direct debit (or CC equivelant).

Also be aware that you cannot cancel on the net, and have to spend a long time
in a queue on a premium rate number to cancel.

Also, be aware that the channels TUTV provide are not "whole" channels, but are
time shared, so you won't get the whole of the Eurosport output.

Some people have been most upset to subscribe and then discover that the sport
they want is shown during the period when TUTV are not showing Eurosport.

    Oh, good.

Go to the website, the subscribe link doesn't work in Konqueror. Sigh.
Start Mozilla. The subscriber link doesn't work in Mozilla. Curse. Fire
up laptop, start Internet Exploder. Get through three pages of forms,
and end up with it saying 'invalid information, please try again'.
Well, apart from the fact that I know my name, my address and my phone
number, and no, idiot machine, they're not invalid, it doesn't have the
courtesy to tell me which of this information it thinks is invalid.
Some people seem not to want customers.

Heh! I had the same with Firefox.

I was just checking the times on digiguide and noticed that there is also a

storyville episode about the 1976 Paris-Roubaix one day spring classic bike
    race .

    Death on the Mountain (Documentary)

    Showing on BBC 4.

    Storyville (Documentary)

To get these you need a satellite dish, and the technical savvy to point
it at the right sector of outer space, don't you?

Even my cable provider doesn't carry these channels, and they pump
*any* old [censored] down the wire to fill up their channel packages.

I'd love it if our cable company did fill up their channel package with
foreign channels (especially RAI) but unfortunately we seem to get
endless channels of comedy repeats from when I was a lad and lifestyle
    shows instead.

IE works quite well under wine, no need to fire up a windoze machine.

I have a new set top box but no slot, I was assuming that you get some
sort of encription code, Not going to do it anyway, freeview means just
that in my book, not a lead on for Top-up (ie pay) TV. I am quite happy
to wait until 1900 for itv2 (or even watch live at weekends). Anything
else I want to watch I will rent or buy a DVD, it is cheaper.

You need a new set top box with slot for top-up TV card then ;-)
