Oh, ok. So it's a police conspiracy against you. Got it.
Thanks and good day sir.

I am denying everything about that report.
I would also point out your further lies. There was no, " restraining order for a year against multiple parties". That is a complete lie.
There was a peace-bond for one year The Gazette and I AGREED upon. It was the cheapest and most expedious solution. I did not feel like spending another $10,000 or $15,000 to defend against charges that would be dismissed if I just agreed not to write to The Gazette for a year. What did I care? The Gazette agreed because they knew they had no case and would look very stupid in pursuing the matter. Do you think if they thought they could have won they would have backed down? They were not even paying anything since the Crown was. Do you think they would have done me any favours? They were out to screw me. They dropped it because they had little choice.
I have said it numeorus times, I had a valid Firearms permit, I live out in the country, almost everybody here has a rifle or two and a shotgun. The police chose to ignore the valid permit, it made for better headlines. They said and I quote, "We can charge you with whatever we like. Your lawyer can get the charges dismissed". That is exactly what happenned. In the meantime it made for better headlines.
Do you think this would be the first time police manipulated the facts?
If anybody doubts me, I have the valid permit (now expired) and will fax you a copy if you want to see it.
All the story, every piece of it, was fabricated or distorted to suit their purposes.
You can bring it up all you want. I will always set the record straight.
Hiring me would send the message the CCA is serious about making changes. It is very likely hiring me would be mainstream, national sports news, or I'll make it so.
. Hahahahaha... What an ego! How in the world would this make mainstream national sports news??? That's awesome. I nearly spit my coffee out onto my keyboard!!

Ahhhh. Nothing like a veiled threat to get the point across that you've sued once and will sue again, and to really nail that job.
My harddrive on my computer failed, so have been gone a couple of days. Glad to see you all enjoying MY thread.
To help pay for my computer repair, I firgured I should charge you all money. This is a good deal for you Eddie as I am asking for a dollar a post, not by the word.
Since my address is unknown, ALL of you can donate to the British Columbia Chihuahua Rescue instead. Just post your receipt #.
Canadian Cyclist already got a lot of mileage out of my possible hiring as an Apirl Fool's Joke in 2004. Think how much they would get if it is true!
As usal you all have plenty to say in the negative.
Who would you propose be given the job if not me.
This should be fun, try to find a more qualified person than me who would take the job. Pay attention, now, more qualified AND willing to take the job?
Goodness, that sounds a lot like something Mr. Arzouian would say. Quite a few of your posts do, actually.
Guess it beats talking to yourself.

I'd rather see a sane MBA with a background in sportsmarketing get the job.

I am sorry you feel that my posts look like Eddie’s. That is probably because I am posting about cycling matters, the CCA in general. Should I issue more posts like yours? No cycling, just attacking. (That seems to be Eddie's style on this thread). You are not Eddie, are you?
I am also sorry for the charity post. I thought I would add some humor. I guess someone with a pseudonym like “Uboat” isn’t going to get it.
Oh, and that isn’t me on Pelagmag looking for Ed. Pedalmag has no “log-on” and Ed is here.

Sure, just remember to invite the rest of the Sub55 Thread gang. We can all walk down “main street” swiging back some Jim Beam from a 40 pounder while singing sailor songs and taunting little dogs locked in their owners cars. Sounds like fun. The others can pay for the booze since they owe us.
I for one refuse to donate any money to Chihuahua rescue: a dog you can kick for a 40-yard field goal is not a dog. Bird-dog rescue, now we're talking.
Ed, you get called on "mainstream, national sports news" and you reply with Canadian Cyclist?!
The funny thing is, he says he would make it national news, and you certainly could if you could rationalize playing the freak-news angle by thinking something along the lines of "any press is better than no press," which given Ed's shameless hunger for personal publicity must sound about right to him.
Anyway, Ed, I hesitate to ask this but I'm in the mood for a laugh after a bad round of golf and I get the feeling I'll find the answer funny whichever way it swings: have you been interviewed for the CCA job?

First bottle is on me. Can we tell sailor jokes too?
Sailor <eyes on fresh young boy>: "Arrr, have ya ever been to sea, young Billy?"
Billy: "O no, but I've been blown ashore! Hi hi hi...."
Okay you two are out of my league, maybe I'll just ride my bike and have a nice tofu burger and some soya mile when I'm done. Nationals in a few weeks and I got to get training!
